Care Instructions:
Opening: Your yoga mat might have a mild, harmless odor when first unwrapped. Let it air out for 1-2 days before use. Any initial 'curly corners' will naturally settle over time, leaving you with a perfectly flat mat. Rolling it inside out during storage can help.
Cleaning: Natural rubber absorbs water due to its open-cell structure. Avoid soaking or immersing the mat in water. Instead, regularly clean it by spraying a vinegar-water solution and wiping it down with a soft cloth to keep it hygienic and fresh.
Drying: Keep the mat out of direct sunlight. Opt for air-drying in a well-ventilated area, ideally by hanging, to ensure proper airflow around the surface. Avoid using a dryer, as it could intensify the rubber smell and damage the mat. For excess moisture, press it gently between two towels before air-drying.
Storing: Prolonged sunlight exposure may cause the mat to fade, become brittle, or unusable. Store it in a mat bag, away from sunlight, when not in use for better longevity.
