About this item

Hoist MiSmith Dual Action Smith - Commercial Grade Smith Machine for Home and Gym

The Hoist MiSmith Dual Action Smith is engineered for lifters who want the natural feel of free weights with the confidence and control of a guided system. Designed for both home gyms and professional training environments, this advanced Smith machine delivers smooth motion, intelligent safety, and space-efficient performance. Whether you are building strength, improving form, or training solo, the MiSmith supports consistent progress with every rep.

Dual Action Smith Technology for Natural Movement

Unlike traditional Smith machines, the MiSmith Dual Action Smith allows the bar to travel both vertically and horizontally, closely matching the bodyâÂÂs natural lifting path. This dual-movement design promotes better biomechanics, improved muscle engagement, and a more authentic free-weight experience while maintaining guided stability and safety.

Ultra Lite Lifting System for Accessible Strength Training

The integrated Ultra Lite Lifting System reduces the starting bar weight to 30 lb, making the MiSmith accessible for beginners, rehabilitation users, and lighter training sessions. At the same time, it remains capable of supporting progressive overload for experienced lifters, ensuring long-term versatility.

Commercial Smooth Performance with Precision Engineering

High-quality linear bearings and hardened shafting deliver consistent, friction-free motion throughout the full range of movement. This smooth performance helps maintain proper form, reduces joint stress, and allows lifters to focus fully on strength and technique rather than resistance inconsistency.

Adjustable Safety System for Confident Solo Training

Multiple adjustable safety stop positions allow users to set customized lifting limits for each exercise. This added protection makes heavy lifting safer, especially during solo workouts, and encourages confident progression without the need for a spotter.

Quiet, Floor Safe and Gym Friendly Design

Polyurethane-covered rack-out points minimize noise during use while protecting the frame from wear. Non-marring feet help safeguard flooring surfaces, making the MiSmith suitable for home gyms, studios, and commercial fitness facilities.

Space Efficient Walk Through Frame

The compact, walk-through design maximizes usability without consuming excessive floor space. This efficient footprint allows the MiSmith to fit comfortably into home gym layouts while still delivering full commercial-grade functionality.

Connected Training with the HOIST Strength App

The MiSmith includes access to the HOIST Strength app, offering guided workouts, exercise demonstrations, and structured training routines. This added support helps users train smarter, stay motivated, and make the most of their equipment.
